Registration

Three ways to register - online, mail, and email:

• Register online. (Recommended!)

• Register by mail. Download the registration form, fill in all the necessary information, and mail the form and check to

                     ORSCA Chess

       The mail must be received by two days before the scheduled tournament.               

• Register by email. Send the registration form to j-lutz@georgiasouthern.edu.

Registration Fee:

• Pre-Registration: $12 for ORSCA Members (include Bulloch, Jenkins, Tattnall Counties), $15 for others.
• Late Fee (After 5pm on the Thursday before each tournament): $15 for ORSCA Members (include Bulloch, Jenkins, Tattnall Counties), $20 for others.
• No credit payment accepted. Make check payable to Ogeechee River Chess or to ORSCA.

DeadLine:

• Pre-registration closes at 5:00pm on Thursday before each tournament. After you submit your registration, please check our Roster to confirm that your registration is received and entered.
• To pre-register you must provide a valid, USCF ID number. Pre-registering without an ID number will not be accepted

• To register at the door, you must present a current USCF ID card or reciept with ID number from the USCF website
• United States Chess Federation

Further Information:

• A parent, gaurdian, or team coach must be present at all times for players under 15
• 1st and 5th round 1/2 point byes may be requested in advance (not on the day of tournament), requested byes are irrevocable
• You must check in 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start of play or you will recieve a 0 point first round bye. Admission to the tournament will be at the discretion of the tournament director
